As Fall slowly creeps up on us, we here at Armoured Fox Press continue to press forward with some of our anthologies that are overdue. Mamano Menagerie is finally going to print once final edits are looked over by the writers. (we are going for a November publishing date) After that, Maids! will be moving forward as well.
As many of you have seen, we have a number of calls for submissions open right now for a variety of anthologies. The main reason for this is that we would like to increase the number of publications in our library to have available to our readers. It is also because there are only a small number of small presses in the furry fandom that are open for anthologies, and none in the OELN writing world.
We are still looking for editors who would like to run for their own anthologies as well.
If you would like to be an editor, all you would have to do is to submit to us a proposal of what kind of anthology you would like to do. What's it theme? How large are you wanting the stories to be? Is it furry or more anime based? Erotic or non-erotic? And anything else you can think of.
If we accept it, we will put up the call for submissions for it, and when the time comes, we will pay out to the authors, as well as cover the cover art. And payment for you? It will be the same as our novel pay outs, once a book sells, we take off printing costs, and you get 50% of what's left. (So say the book is $20. Printing is $6. So left over is $14, to which you would get $7)

We have been getting a number of queries about novel submissions. Currently we are closed for novel queries due to having a fair number in our slush pile and not enough readers to go through them. We are not expecting to be open for them until sometime in 2023. Please do not just send them in anyway, as we will not read them at this point in time.
