We here at Armoured Fox Press are working hard on getting through all the anthology submissions we have received over the last couple months. Some are nearing the end of the selection process, while others are still waiting on receiving more stories. Check out our call for submission pages to see what is currently open. If you do not see the anthology up there, then it is closed. If it's there, you can still submit.
As for novel submissions, we are still closed. As they take a lot more to go through, we don't foresee opening the call for novels until probably 2024. Not going to lie, we have a fair amount of novels already in our slushpile, and to give them a fair chance we are taking our time reading them.
Other than that, we are excited for Fur-Eh! 2023 where we will be vending as always. If you happen to be going, come on by and say hello! Tarl will be running some panels there, one of which he will be taking your questions about publishing.
It's hard to believe we came into being in 2016. In those 7 years we have grown a lot, learned a lot of things, and continue pushing forwards. We are looking to publish a lot more internally while continuing to distribute other furry and small publisher works at conventions. It's been an interesting adventure and we look forward to continuing to do this for many years to come!
